What used to be a laughingstock, mighty Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, was consistantly hailed as the least fine stadium in America. Its roof turning orange when the Rays win, and the spurt that erupts from a giant orange in right field (with a straw in it) when the Rays hit a home run, were considered tacky tactics of a tackily uniformed team. The great change of 2008 has thrown all that out into the wastepaperbasket. Here come the New Rays!
